That works out to roughly 16 percent, though the study itself never states a 16 percent figure. The key omission is what "drinks green tea" meant: at least 500 mL a day, at least six days a week, for at least twenty years, compared against men who drank green tea almost never. This was an observational snapshot, not an experiment, so it cannot show that tea raised anyone's testosterone. The tea group also had lower body weight, less inflammation, and better sleep, any of which could explain the hormone difference.
