The 2027 date in the reporting attaches to the Mille Miglia, not Formula 1. Gaafar said the club intends to organise that race in Egypt for the first time during 2027, with dozens of cars arriving from European and Arab countries, and that the minister promised support in coordination with the tourism, finance and interior ministries for vehicle entry, route security and logistics.

Formula 1 was raised separately, introduced in the reports with the phrase "in another file." Gaafar disclosed an intention to host Formula 1 races in Egypt, said the project would require large investments reaching tens of millions of dollars, said investors and international financing bodies would want to participate if suitable land and government backing were provided, and said several attractive candidate sites exist with the final location to be chosen according to the necessary technical and economic studies.
